By default, the program polls the Big Brother server for status when it starts and every 30 seconds thereafter. You can adjust the polling interval from the setup menu option, but you may not poll the server more often than 30 seconds. You can also change the URL to the Big Brother page to your organization's Big Brother page. Based on the 'color' of the Big Brother page, Little Brother updates the color of the icon on the system tray.

Little Brother was coded in Python and uses the wxPython GUI toolkit.
